I walked in and out of Best Buy without buying a 70" TV. My wife even gave me the okay to get it. But... BUT... I COULDN'T DO IT!!!
$145 total for XBox 360 Ghosts, a Zumba game for wifey, a headset, and an HDMI cable. DAMN YOU WELL-INSTILLED FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY!!!!!
Also, if anybody wants to school me at Ghosts tonight, let me know.

I know it's a bit smaller, but their new 4K TV is about that price for 50".

You bought an HDMI cable at best buy? That probably cost at least 6 times what you should be paying for them

Every dollar you save while buying stuff can go towards a car - my approach for everything

Facts.
And I worked at best buy.
Find one on Amazon. Even pay the $0.50 for gold tips if you want, and bask in your technological "sticking it to the man".

Every dollar you don't spend on your car is a dollar your wife will look at as a dollar you don't need to spend on your car.

I drove in and out of Best Buy without buying a 70" TV. Because they weren't open at the time. And yet my record is clean.

If you ever need cables in the future, use monoprice.com and save yourself about $15 a cable or more.

$12.

Brags about financial responsibility, overpays for an HDMI cable at Best Buy.
I just picked up a 47" LED for $329 on Cyber Monday. A step up from my 29" and a good size for my living room - the TV sits about 6' from the couch and too big is awkward to watch.

It's like sitting in the front row at a movie theater o_O
What an awful experience. Especially with a fast paced action movie (Fast Five).
*note to self: don't show up to movie premieres late

I could save $15 on a $12 cable?
I'll take 10,000.

$12? I'm not worried about overpaying for a one time purchase under $15.

YUP. I have plans to run the 2016 Gumball 3000. She just told me that I can only do it if she's a housewife. I have 2.5 years to make that happen.

$12 isn't bad at all. I laugh at the people who pay $50+ for Monster HDMI cables and swear by the difference

PSH. NO. I am not paying big bucks for a damned cable. Five foot cable. No gold prongs, nothing special.

I call this blackmail.
Not quite the classical definition, but it sounds good.

Last time I was at BB they were selling a single 6ft hdmi cable for $18. You can get a single 6ft hdmi cable for $2 at mono ($1 shipping). I was just trying to be helpful is all.
Monoprice - 6ft HDMI $1.78 (before shipping)

I just didn't want it to come off wrong. Also when ever you decide to buy a TV and you find a TV you really like. Check out www.dealzon.com and you can find the best priced deal for the TV you want. Good luck!
